Many players are looking for answers to assist them in pursuing a career path in football. There are many football academies around and many people offering advice and it's hard to know who to turn to and which way to move forward.
The International Football Institute (IFI) has been established with the sole aim of assisting players to reach their full potential in the game. To do this you need to have a trained eye, a sound knowledge of coaching and experience in the game at the top level.
Steve O'Connor is the Managing Director of the International Football Institute and has a vast level of experience in the game.
Steve has played for Australia, coached Australian teams, and fostered the cream of Australian international talent. Steve played for the Socceroos 44 times, was the Young Socceroo Head Coach and Head Coach of the Australian Institute of Sport for twelve years. Steve was also the Assistant Coach of the Olympic and Joey's team. Steve is an award winning coach and a member of the Football Federation Australia's Hall of Fame.
During Steve's career he has developed or helped develop Australian National Team players, including Mark Viduka, Lucas Neil, Craig Moore, Clint Bolton, Hayden Foxe, Brett Emerton, Vince Grella, Mark Bresciano, Carl Valeri, Luke Wilkshire, Alex Brosque, Stuart Musialik and more recently James Holland, Nikita Rukavytsya, Jimmy Downey, Kofi Danning, Mitchell Langerac, Ryan Grant, Luke DeVere, Michael Marrone, Seb Ryall, Daniel Mullen, Isaka Cernak, Bruce Djite, to name a few.
In fact the bulk of the National Teams at Youth, Olympic and senior level over the past 15 years have come through the AIS Program under Steve's guidance. Steve's impact in the game is evident both in developing players and also coaches. The International Football Institute is offering you the chance to be a part of the International Football Institute Development Program and train in a systematic program designed within sound coaching methodology principles by Steve.
Develop your skills and understanding under his experienced eye within a proven environment designed for learning the playing habits, attitudes and mental skills that have enabled many players to take the next step. Players and parents can feel assured that they have a coach who is recognized both nationally and internationally and one who can develop skills and talent to the highest level.
In addition to this, IFI offers player and coach tours along with step by step career management services that will help you map out the best pathway for your development.
Consultancy is also provided by IFI for national, state, regional associations/ federations and clubs who require additional expertise.
The IFI is open to both player's and coaches who wish to further themselves in the game. |
